Monte Carlo, Monaco



Made famous by Grace Kelly and the Grimaldes, Monte Carlo is still as high class today. Worth visiting are the pink palace with its winding streets and spectacular views of the harbour and the grand prix race track (Don't miss the changing of the guards everyday at 12 noon or a tour of the palace).

Other sites of interest include the Jacques Cousteau museum and the cathedral where Grace Kelly was laid to rest. The other side of Monte Carlo is famous for its casino.
